Field care:
Catch And Release: Photograph your fish , try to capture as much detail as possible. Measure your fish length wise from mouth to tail. If possible measure the girth (around the middle of the fish’s belly). Release the fish a soon as possible back into water.
Traditional skin mounts: Photograph and try to capture as much detail as possible. Measure your fish length wise from mouth to tail. If possible measure the girth (around the middle of the fish’s belly). Place the fish in a plastic trash bag, add a cup of water, and freeze fish. Your fish is now ready to bring to a taxidermist.
